Meet Mark and Ste
Platform was founded in 2017 in a derelict shell of a building that had lay dormant in Tameside for decades.
At first it was just Mark and Ste operating everything in the business from training the clients, sorting the operations and managing the marketing and sales.
They were working things out as they went but the business grew dramatically over the first few years driven by a solid product and strong word of mouth.
As the business got slicker and the marketing and sales process was refined the business continued to grow and more members of the team came on board.
Fast forward 6 years and Platform now has full service, operations, sales and marketing divisions and is about to begin expansion opening more locations.
Over the last few years Mark and Ste have been contacted by small business owners in the area asking them for help with different aspects of their business.
From how to use Social Media to drive sales, how to use paid ads on Meta and Google, how to bring the first members of staff in to how to manage cash flow.
The support they were giving local businesses ad hoc kept growing and they continued to be contacted by more and more local Small Businesses for help.
It got to a point where a number of people were asking for an official mentorship due to the help they’d received in the conversations they had.
After being asked time and time again they decided to put it together and reach out to a bunch of businesses they had supported over the years.
The first 10 businesses jumped on board and Relentless Business Mentoring was born.
